Aug. Language Table - Telenovela

For our free language table, for the month of August we are changing gears with a Telenovela designed for Spanish language learners. A Telenovela is a melodramatic soap opera (is that redundant?) . The Telenovela is great when learning because body movement, language and scenes are over-the-top, making it easy to follow along as you learn Spanish.
This Telenovela has a narrator, and the lead actress is an investigator who recaps the day in her journal— so you get to review the scenes with the narrator and investigator - repetition is key in language acquisition.

Activities for each episode are available in our Google Classroom. We will cover the 4th episode of Season 1 on Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 11:05am. Season 1 Episode 4 is Perdido .
